Next Meeting: November 18, 2026

Due to Michael Aubrecht's inability to travel at this time, Lorna Hainesworth will present:

“Seasons of Arnold: Retracing the Routes of the 1775 Expeditions to Invade Canada.”

This presentation will give us a traveler's view of the expeditions from Cambridge, Massachusetts and Fort Ticonderoga to Quebec in the latter third of 1775.  Using current day maps, we will be able to follow the Continental soldiers’ travels and visit the locations through which they trekked. We will also learn what happened to some of the soldiers after the Battle of Quebec and their return to the Lake Champlain area.

Lorna Hainesworth is an Ambassador and National Traveler. She supports various American History organizations for which she acts as a self-appointed Ambassador.  As a National Traveler, Lorna has researched and driven the length and breadth of our nation on numerous Historic Roads seeking places of significant interest. In addition to the Revolutionary War, she has studied the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the History of Surveying and the War of 1812.  Lorna is retired from government employment and makes her home in Randallstown, Maryland.
