"Paul Revere's Ride: An Illustrated History"

Our speaker will be Courtney Skinner
Cortney Skinner has been a professional, full-time freelance illustrator for over four decades. His expertise spans traditional media and digital illustration, his work appearing in books, magazines, and film. His landscapes, still lifes, and portraits have found their way into numerous private collections.
During the Bicentennial, Cort’s deep fascination with Revolutionary War history led him to establish the First Massachusetts Regiment, a Continental Line living history unit.
Skinner’s journey into historical illustration began in 1999 when he illustrated for Ben Edwards’ ongoing One April in Boston project. In 2017, he embarked on a research, writing, and painting project entitled Paul Revere’s Ride, An Illustrated History, culminating in the publication of the 250th Anniversary book by the Paul Revere Memorial Association in 2025. You'll definitely enjoy this wonderfully illustrated work, which will be available for purchase.
