An Evening of Colonial Decadence: April 11, 2014

No, it's not what you're thinking!

The John Marshall House is hosting an evening of Colonial Decadence on Friday, April 11th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We would love for you to attend!  As many of you know, the John Marshall House has limited space, so please reserve early since this event is going to sell out fast!

Ambassadors from Mars American Heritage Chocolate will be on hand to demonstrate chocolate’s history as more than just a food or confection. In 2003 a group from Mars led a multi-disciplinary team of more than 115 experts from around the globe who accessed over 200 archives, libraries, museums and private collections to reveal chocolate’s origin and history in the Americas. In addition to a fascinating talk, we will offer desserts and appetizers sponsored by Richmond on Broad Café and a special wine selection dear to Judge Marshall himself!

Tickets may be reserved on-line here: https://preservationvirginia.wufoo.com/forms/colonial-decadence/ When asked for your “member name” please write your name and “colleague discount” to receive the member rate.
